Spellmonger is now on Facebook.

Yielding to popular opinion, I have started a Facebook page for the Spellmonger novels, under Spellmonger Series.  I've posted all of the maps and drawings and ugly cover art there, and will mirror announcements and stuff.

In general I avoid FB personally, but I recognize it as a tool for marketing and communication.  I'll likely check the Spellmonger site more than my own, honestly (I find FB a horrible time sink - I got stuff to write) but if you like that platform, it's now there for your convenience.

  1. Woo! Looked it up immediately but shouldn't it be a fan page rather than an actual Facebook account? That way people can just like the page to get updates ect and you wont have to individually accept every friend request that comes in for it. Easier for everyone but mostly you :P.. All you'd have to do is mirror updates on there from here.

Can't wait for the next book Terry, eagerly that's for sure.

  2. After wasting 2 hours on FB one day, I realized that I, too, hated it. There's also research that says the more time you spend on FB, the more unhappy you become.

    1. Absolutely. It's a distracting annoyance most of the time. The only good things I find about it is the ability to connect with friends overseas or to organize events ect. It's a bit different when it comes to fan pages though also, that's probably the 3rd good thing about it. It makes it easy to stay up to date with multiple different authors, tv shows ect and all their updates and news. That's part of the reason I appreciate Terry doing this.
