also in terms of consistency: it was stated that anguins marriage will be next year but i was under the impression the reconquest was sorta his wedding gift or did i misunderstand something
If I recall the wedding was scheduled for next fall, in Falas and yes it was a wedding gift.

At location 2797 it says "back down the river toward its confluence with the UUU."
Could it be you left these as labels and meant to put the real names there later? Or where there rivers called UUU and OOO?

My prediction:
-More dragon attacks (at Verona AND Venedol)
-Min attempts to recreate Snowstone but creates a different type of stone (Green stone? I suspect Ghost rock is a type of "special" stone)
-Aly "sport" ability to resist large amount of power is the key to snow stone creation.
-Isil being "dark mage" creates blue stone linked to photomancy/dark stuff
-The whole point of the "penemdra" is to keep the gods out. It's somehow atuned to humani creations (that is why its killing nativia plants)
Is this our version of group mind to mind communication. Do we all have witch stones now?

ReplyDeleteMin can't sell more snowstone to the vundel because the gold he has is already enough to destabilize the kingdom. So i predict the "bargain" he strikes is to get the Vundel to magic the new horizon back into orbit.

DeleteThe 140ish pages we just got were supposed to be the prologue of thaumaturge. But the book got longer than expected. He made a post on facebook on jan 8 about this.
DeleteI loved it. There were only two spots that caught me off. There seems to be two placeholder spots where names of rivers or places were to be used one shows as UUU the other is OOO.

ReplyDeleteReally good read, I like the way the drunken lawbrother is introduced. The relationship between Min and his father is explored. The turmoil Min has with his exile. His decision to make the changes to his life and family. Leads nicely to Thermaturge. Great book, keep up the good work.
