Terry's at the Baltimore Comicon This Weekend!

No automatic alt text available.

I will be at the Baltimore ComicCon this weekend, in Artist Alley with Lance Sawyers (Lanse of Bune) of Gallery 71/Lance Sawyers Studios. He will be selling art. I will be selling autographed copies of Hawkmaiden, Spellmonger, Warmage and . . . the first few proof copies of Magelord.

Since I only have a limited amount of the last, I will be selling them only as part of the three-book (so far) package there. After the con, you'll be able to order autographed copies of all currently-available Spellmonger books (1-3, plus Hawkmaiden) from Gallery 71. I'll be dishing the deets later.

In fact, I'll be making a lot of announcements about release dates and such at the con. I'm hoping to be able to get the technology to do a Facebook Live post, but we'll see what happens. I love the Baltimore con, and I always have a great time -- looking forward to it.

Lastly, I am in the final phases of revision on Necromancer. It's already going through editorial review. Emily says its good. We'll see.

If you're at the con, stop by. It's your shot to ask the author anything. I might even tell you.

    1. sigh. January is soooooo far away!

    2. January for what? Necromancer should be coming out on the 1st of October. He used the European style for the date instead of the more common (here at least) US style for lack of a better word.

  8. As psych'd as I am for Necromancer, I'm even more excited about that Atlas of Callidore you mentioned. I was about ready to start going over the books line-by-line and reverse engineering one myself!

  11. I just want to add that I appreciate the book coming out on a weekend. I don't know who came up with "New Book Tuesday" but it sucks!

  12. Agreed - you either have to take a day off to read of wait until the weekend - and I'm just not that patient.

  13. Whats are everyone pet theories for necromancer?

I am hoping we will find out more about what changes have occurred in Min after harbouring the celestial motherduring the transfer process.

    1. She never completely left him... was said before and the danger warning when Senvdor was under attack supports that (I hoped to get more infos on this since Enchanter came out ^^)
Another thing that seems to become more and more important are prophecys. The first book confronted us with one but Court Mage (and Checkered Past) hinted that the whole story has been influenced by seers.

    2. I bet Tavard is really going to Sevendor to make sure his sister remains persona non grata. If he was not involved in her actual capture (which someone probably DID sell her info to the pirates) then he is likely thrilled to have her gone. Just think about how poor Lenguin had had it growing up with Grendine.

    3. Tavars is being setup to fall hard. I really believe lenguin is being groomed to be come a great king or perhaps an emperor which will up Min to do magic stuff

Do we know how far down into the earth the snow stone effect goes?

I am waiting for the karshak to find their lost kingdom in the moutain. This really gives me mines if moria vibes.

If the CM has never left Min, then he is gonna be one scary dude.

    4. Has anyone considered that Tavard is not just ensuring that his sister is not rescued but is trying to force the Spellmonger's assistance in his invasion - unless he has Min's help there is no way he will reach Enultramar.

      Delete
    5. Min wouldn't want that either. He wants Enultramar to go to Duke Anguin. Either way would be a hindrance since Min has plans to go north rather than south.

The part about the sea people wanting to buy a "mountain" of snowstone is actually a bit ominous as that is about exactly how much Min has. If they have found out about his resurrecting of the Celestial Mother, they may decide to kick him out of Sevendor. Which would severely hamper his construction plans!

  14. Facebook page received update from our intrepid author

You will find the cover blurb of Necromancer as well as the first page preview for the new story

  15. My theory is the Flour Monster will devour all the evil on Callidore! Then everyone needs the Spellmonger to save them from bellyaches from eating to many berry tarts.
    Could happen

  16. Amazon says the book comes out 4th october... please tell us this is a mistake Terry!
