So close . . . but no cigar. Yet.

So it's the last day of February.  And KM isn't done.

It's not that I haven't been working on it like a fiend, but the simple fact is I was in the hospital for four days, recovering for a few more, and then got the flu.  Now I'm more or less recovered and my family has the flu.  Oh, my new artist came by to visit.  Flu.  Now my wife has pneumonia.  Lovely.

SO . . . even though I hate missing my own self-imposed deadlines as much as you do, this one is gonna get missed.  A bit.  But not by much.  I'm still grinding my way through the final, and when it's done I'll get it up as soon as possible with the Last Of The Sucky Covers.  Just give me a week or so to catch up, and we'll be golden.  If I don't come down with something even worse.

  1. Your and your family's health must of course come first! There is no doubt about that. We will wait and be patient (Though it must be admitted it's hard).
When the book finally comes out it will be all the better for the wait.

  2. Dont worry about being later than you hoped. To help tide you over let me say that Magelord has really captured my imagination in a way few books have done, I actually have re-read it 3 times this month waiting for KM and I almost never reread books. So you are doing something right.

  3. Don't worry about us. Just work on the book and when it is out let us know.

  4. If it makes y'all feel better, I saw the in-progress for-real cover to KM, and it looks great! Tyndal and Rondal on the brink of battle. Real human figures.

  6. Thanks for keeping us informed of whats happening. Sometimes its more madding when we don't have any information. Since then you have absolutely no idea when a book is coming out. So thanks for the information that's it has been delayed, we can wait take care of health first.

  7. Thanks for the update TM. I was wondering what the actual process was in terms of reporting any errors or such back to you - or if there was one.

  10. The 11th through 15th are the most popular posting dates for books on amazon, for some weird reason. Everyone try to keep from freaking out till then.
